Grundy Mountain Mission School
Spring Break 2007
Our spring break trip to the Mountain Mission School in Grundy, VA, was another incredible experience. MMS is a home/church/school for some 300 children, from infancy through high school. We not only met many children from surrounding urban areas but also refugees from several foreign nations. Our own students immediately took to the environment of this school that had become such a place of refuge for thousands of children over the years. One student applied for an internship for the upcoming summer and two other students decided that they want to go there to teach after they graduate from college.
